About the Event
The Bay to Bay Maritime Hike is a new challenge event created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong Maritime Week. Designed specifically for the maritime industry, the event will bring together shipping professionals from Hong Kong and across the globe for a memorable adventure that promotes teamwork, networking and charitable giving.
Organised by The Sailors Home and Mission to Seafarers Hong Kong, together with industry co-organisers including The Captain’s Table, NorthStandard, and Filhet-Allard Maritime Hong Kong, the event aims to strengthen connections across the maritime sector while raising funds to support the welfare of seafarers worldwide.
As the inaugural Hong Kong Maritime Week race, the event is intended to become a biennial tradition, providing a recurring platform for industry engagement, charitable fundraising and positive visibility for Hong Kong’s maritime sector. By combining sport, community and philanthropy, the Bay to Bay Maritime Hike aims to become a standout feature of future Hong Kong Maritime Week celebrations and a unique showcase of Hong Kong as a leading international maritime centre.
