With seafarers often facing long periods away from home, isolation, and challenging working conditions, MtS provides safe spaces, WiFi access, transport, and the presence of dedicated chaplains who listen, encourage and advocate.
Their purpose is simple: to care for the people who keep global trade moving. With a history dating back to 1856, The Mission to Seafarers supports all men and women working at sea, regardless of faith, rank or nationality, offering a warm welcome and human connection whenever crews need support.
We operate day and night in over 200 ports across 50 countries, 365 days a year to ensure the people behind 90% of world trade are never left to face the challenges of life at sea alone.
